Who do you invite to your wedding? Support for the overwhelmed engaged couple | Nottinghamshire & Lincolnshire Natural wedding photographer

You're engaged, but who do you invite to your wedding?

So you’re planning on getting married, and you have to make the invite list. This can be extremely overwhelming for some people, here are my best tips for you. Especially if you have a limit on your wedding venue for the number of guests that you can bring.

The definite for your yes list:

should be your immediate family if you get on with them, plus your best friends and close friends and relatives. You can also include family friends if you have a strong bond with them and of course your friends.

The no list:

- You don’t have to invite distant relatives if you don’t enjoy their company or feel connected with them.

-  It’s your choice whether you want children at your wedding or not. Although some parents may feel offended by that, it’s your day after all and do what’s right for you.

-  If you're on a budget or a small venue, say no to plus ones, this includes letting your family not invite anyone.

-  The people who you shouldn’t invite to your wedding are estranged family members, exes, coworkers that aren’t friends, and acquaintances. Anyone who makes you feel rubbish, or is toxic, you also do not have to invite people who invited you to their wedding, but if you are no longer friends or close.

And remember, it’s your day!
