What decor do you need for your reception party

  • Table centerpieces for each table.

  • Welcome banner on entry of the venue reception room.

  • Balloons and balloon arch at the reception room door.

  • Entertainment for small children: busy books.

  • Cake table: Cake and cake-cutting tools.

  • The gifts table: Post box for cards and to put gifts on, with guest book for signing.

  • A backdrop for photos.

  • Top table: Centerpeice.

Use Photographs In Your Décor

It’s such a simple idea, however, it’s one that is such a guest pleaser at wedding receptions - especially with your family members. There are a number of ways you can do this one of the cutest ways is by having framed photographs of the two of you at different ages to correspond with your table numbers but you can also incorporate the story of your relationship and share some photographs of your guests on their own wedding days too.

Wedding gifts- Keeping organized:

This little wedding hack could save you from A LOT of embarrassment after your wedding ...... is there anything worse than having to awkwardly try and remember which person sent which gift when it comes to sending thank yous and showing your appreciation? Surely not!

Whether you use Post-it notes or decide to make a list (digital or on some paper!) you'll be glad you did later when it comes to sending out any thank you cards.

Keeping your wedding gifts safe:

Who will you choose? The best man, maid of honor, or your mum? Appoint someone to collect your wedding gifts at the end of the night, so you don’t forget them, or have the extra stress of collecting them at the end of the night.

Delegate tasks:

Trying to do everything yourself will only lead to burnout. Enlist the help of your friends and family members to handle tasks like addressing invitations, decorating the venue, and so on.
