Coping with anxiety as an anxious bride/groom on your wedding day | Nottingham & Lincolnshire natural wedding photographer

Wedding day self-care checklist:

- Put some calming essential oils on your wrists, try Lavender or Yalan yalang.

- Play your favorite music while you are getting ready.

- Make sure you eat something, even if you don’t like it. Stabilize your sugar levels, you don’t want to faint!

- It’s YOUR day, so delegate tasks for your bridal party.

And above all else remember that it's your day!

After all, you'll remember this day for the rest of your life. Don't give in to outward pressure on what traditions to uphold, what you should wear, or where to have your day.

Design a wedding day that celebrates who you are as a couple and your love for one another.

A little personal reminder…..

With the pressures of social media and the perfect Pinterest wedding a very real consequence of modern wedding planning.

I'm here to tell you a perfect wedding is one in which you and your partner are married at the end of the day.

Remember there's no such thing as the perfect anything.

You are celebrating your love for one another in front of the people who love you the most.

Remember that and it'll be the most perfect of days anyway.
